Payroll Accountant

We are currently looking for a responsible, detail-oriented, and analytical Payroll Accountant to join the BSW Engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate payroll processing in Lithuania while collaborating with international accounting partners on cross-border projects.
What you’ll do
As part of the BSW team, you will have the opportunity to:
- Serve as the organization’s primary payroll expert.
- Manage end-to-end payroll processes for more than 400 employees in Lithuania and abroad.
- Collaborate with international accounting partners and cross-functional teams.
- Improve payroll processes and implement more efficient solutions.
- Advise colleagues on payroll, taxation, and employment law matters.
What we’re looking for
We expect you to have:
- At least 3–5 years of payroll accounting experience.
- Experience processing payroll under cumulative (summarized) working time accounting arrangements.
- The ability to independently manage high-volume payroll processes with accuracy.
- Excellent attention to detail, responsibility, and a high level of accuracy.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills and experience working with accounting systems.
- Good written English skills to communicate effectively with international accounting partners.
Nice to have
- Experience processing payroll in other EU countries.
- Experience working with international accounting service providers.
- Experience implementing or improving accounting systems and automating payroll processes.

Additional information
- This is an office-based position.
Compensation
Starting from €3,000 gross per month.
The final salary will depend on the successful candidate’s qualifications, competencies, and professional experience, and will be agreed upon individually.
