History
2018
The journey begins.
BSW Engineering’s story commenced at the end of 2018 in Vilnius, with the idea and vision of creating a more advanced world and a sustainable environment for people. Our idea was to focus on green energy industrial projects, as the projection of the growth in this industry is in double digits for the upcoming 15 years.
BSW Engineering is an abbreviation that stands for Baltic Sea Waters (BSW) Engineering.
2019
The first electrical installation project was secured at the beginning of 2019, involving electrical installation works in an industrial project in Gothenburg, Sweden. The project was successfully completed, and by the end As of 2019, BSW has undertaken 4 projects in the field of electrical installation. During this period the Project Management and Sales Departments were established.
2020
In 2020, commenced the first projects in data centers, including the Microsoft data center in Sweden.
Additionally, the first large-scale project, the Lithium battery factory Northvolt in Sweden, also began. Due to rapid growth, BSW moved to a new office. The compliance according to local tax regulations, collective agreements was one of the core components of our success. Therefore we have established local branches in each country where we operate, signed collective agreements from day ONE.
2021
In 2021, 12 projects were completed in Sweden, and the first project in Denmark, Finland, and Germany were initiated. The HR department was created, and BSW Engineering obtained certification for its quality management system ISO 9001, work health and safety management system ISO 45001, and environmental management system ISO 14000 by DNV GL. Furthermore, BSW moved to a new, larger office.
2022
In 2022, the Purchasing department was created, and the process of digitization began. 35 projects were completed all over Europe, and BSW expanded its operations to include companies in Poland, Denmark, and Norway. The company once again moved to a new, larger office.
2023
In 2023, forty-five projects were completed in Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Germany, Belgium, and the Netherlands. The first project in France commenced, and new large-scale lithium battery projects in Germany and Norway began. Data center projects in France, Norway, Denmark, Belgium, and the Netherlands also started. A strong focus was placed on activity digitalization and process implementation. The scope of activities included containment works, cable pulling, termination, testing, lighting, fire alarm, aspiration, fiber optics, and all types of data networks. A basic structure in Poland was created, and the first projects were successfully completed.
This is our team’s success story, and we eagerly anticipate the future. Everything that we create is the result of teamwork, the product of the hard work and dedication of the BSW team.
